During high school days, I've already been introduced to Algebra and oh boy, it was the most difficult time of my high school days! I remembered how I used to pester my elder brother so he could just give me all the
Math answers that I need without me solving them.
When I got into college, I still had an encounter with Algebra and this time it was more difficult because I was all alone to answer all those mind-breaking
Math problems that surely gave me a headache. As expected, I got a lower grade of below 80 at the end of the semester which pulled down my weighted percentage average that almost got me into probation.
I did envy my friends who are great in Math. I guess it's inborn or something or perhaps they just have the patience to learn all those
Algebra word problems thrown by our excellent Math teachers. That's the reason why I took up courses with less Math subjects in it.
Now I am worried how am gonna answer my future kids if they seek help with their Math homework.
When times get rough, I always take time to internalize the lyrics of this song. I firmly believe that God will always be there for me, just wanna let HIM lead me. My choice of TV programs did vary as I grew older. When I was still in high school, I used to go gaga over youth-oriented local TV shows. I became a fan of Tabing-Ilog and TGIS, two of the infamous local shows aired over ABS-CBN. I can't forget how I used to giggle when I see my celebrity crushes.
When I entered college, we subscribed to a local cable network just like
Direct TV which is really known worldwide. That's how I got hooked to movie channels including our very own Filipino movies plus, I also got fascinated with the television series aired over Star World. However, some programs aren't safe for children to watch on to. I think it would be best if they would devise packages like
DirectTV who has a family entertainment package.
To date, I like the shows shown over Velvet Channel and Star World cos I can get to see some of my favorite TV shows. However, I still missed ETC channel which was removed from the list of channels by our cable network. If my plan of working abroad will be realized, I'd really love to subscribe with
Directv so I won't be able to miss any of the programs I surely love.
One of Davao's finest is Eden Nature Park and Resort situated in Toril, Davao City. Everything in Eden is so green. Nature is really at its best when you're there, plus the peaceful environment they have for their visitors. Yours truly had the chance to visit Eden last weekend (ill have another blog entry of it in my main blog) and all I can say is it did give me a sense of peacefulness and serenity. If you want nothing but nature, try visiting Eden and if you're a tourist, never leave Davao without grabbing the chance to visit Eden.
